Sandra Kolber was her mother as was Gene Kolber was her father. She was a student at Sandy Run Middle School, Dresher Pennsylvania. In 1982 she completed her studies at Upper Dublin High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications in 1986 from University of Miami. While a student at the college she found a job at Dynamic cable located in Coral Gables Florida as a Sports Director. Additionally, she worked there for another two years in the year 1984 and 1986.
