David-Muir
David Muir is an American anchor and journalist best known for his ABC news show World News Tonight with David Muir as well as for the ABC News magazine 20/20 for which he serves as anchorman and co-anchor. The show, with its intense clips of celebrity gossip on video and his animated gestures has become the most watched newscast in America. Made In America, his Emmy nominated show, is one of his other credits. Before he took over ABC World News Tonight he was the primary substitute anchor for the anchor who was his former anchor Diane Sawyer. He was a reporter on a variety of morning ABC News specials, including Breaking Point - Heroin in America. He has traveled around the world to cover the latest news coming from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has been awarded multiple Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards and awards of the Associated Press.
