Zoe-perry

Perry was born to actor Laurie Metcalf, and Jeff Perry. The character Jackie Harris was played by her mom in both of her two appearances on Roseanne. Her parents, however, did not want her to take on acting roles until she was an adult, fearing the effects of stress. Perry shy and timid to perform in the school, began performing in the theater at Northwestern University because she wanted to make new friends. Perry was a graduate of Boston University moved to New York in search of acting roles on television. Her small part was on TV shows like Law & Order: Criminal Intent. However, homesickness led her to California in search of theater jobs. She performed on Broadway in The Other Place with her mother in 2013. In the year 2015, she was alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer Prize-winning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry appeared in nine episodes of The Family, an ABC crime thriller The Family in 2016. Her father portrayed her in the ABC drama Scandal. The actress also portrayed the young Mary Cooper in Young Sheldon which was a CBS spin-off of The Big Bang Theory. Despite the fact that she has a connection with her family to the character she received the role through an audition.
